Spanish 3 anyone?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what is the difference between "y" and "e"? what is the difference between "o" and "u"?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

y and e both mean "and" and o and u both mean "or" but whats the difference

OpenStudy (anonymous):

e is used when the next word starts with a sound like the "y" sound I would guess it's the same with o and u, that it changes when the next word would absorb the more commonly used sound.

it's kind of like "a" and "an"

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh ok thank you!
