the graph of the following system of equations is 2x + y= 6 6x + 3y =18 overlapping lines parallel lines intersecting lines

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Over lapping lines because when you work out the last equation it comes out as y=-2x+6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the slope of the lines an the y intercepts are exactly the same. The equations are equal to eachother

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the lines overlap!!!!

@electrokid what is 18 divided by three?? the last time I checked, it was 6, there for both y intercepts are equal to 6
