Evaluate the expression below at t = 4, P = $400, and r = -7%. Round your answer to two decimal places and enter it below. Do not include units in your answer. A(t) = P multiplied by e^rt

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[A(t)=Pe^{rt}\\ A(t)=400\times e^{-0.07\times4}\] and use a calculator what seems to be the problem, here?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I really have no idea, I'm trying to help a friend out and I can't remember how to do this stuff D:

OpenStudy (anonymous):

plug the numbers into the calculator. to use the e^ fucntion, you probably would have to press "SHIFT"" and then "ln"

OpenStudy (anonymous):

shift doesn't seem to work with it :/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm not very good at using the scientific calculator that comes with windows

OpenStudy (anonymous):

not a scientific one, the $10 calculator you can get from office depot or someplace would be quite enough for this

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol I don't even have one of those. I'm trying to help my friend with homework thru facebook and it's not going so well
