8x-12 > 25; x > 37/8 or 8x-12 < 25; x < 37/8 so im not too sure what any of the options have to do with this

... it appears that i forgot to include the 7 - part from the line above

7 - 9x - (x + 12) > 25 or 7 - 9x - (x + 12) < 25 the options seem to suggest that -3 plays a valuable part in this, so lets try x=-3 7 +27 - 9 = 25 so if anything we do not want to include a -3, a closed circle is a notation used for INCLUDING a value

and the phrase "equal to" is just as incorrect, so there are 2 options
