A man wishes to estimate the distance of a nearby tower frm him.He stnds at a point A in frnt of the tower C & spots a vry distant object O in line wid AC.He thn wlks perpendicularly 2 AC upto B , a distance of 100m , & looks at O & C again.Since O is vry distant , the direction Bo is practically the sme as AO : bt he finds the line of sight of C shiftd frm the original line of sight by an angle theta = 400 ( theta is known as parallax) .estimate the distance of the tower C frm his original position A.
