A baseball player gets four hits during the World Series and a sports announcer claims getting four or more hits is not unusual. Use the frequency distribution below to determine if the sports announcer is correct. Hits Players 0 7 1 9 2 7 3 4 4 1 5 1 6 2 7 1

OpenStudy (jim766):

How many players got 4 or more hits based on the table?

I gave you all the information I have... Is there something on the TI-83 that can tell me how to decide this?

OpenStudy (jim766):

yes you did, I am asking you to read the table and tell me what it says. a frequency table tells you how many times some thing happened. How many players got zero hits?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

7 players got 0, 9 got 1, 7 got 2.. I understand that and if I were going just based off that I would say it is unusual but I don't know if thats acceptable in math...

OpenStudy (jim766):

27 players got 3 or less hits 5 players got 4 or more hits which would say is more likely? less than 3

OpenStudy (jim766):

math does not always have to be hard...
