Hello everyone, i'm kinda new at this so could someone help me out with this question in Bio Sec1Ch37= A stroke may also be referred to as a "brain attack". In what is a stroke similar to a heart attack? Thanks :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Strokes and heart attacks have one thing in common: they happen when our organs don't get enough oxygen. Our blood carries oxygen for us. It takes that oxygen all over our bodies. When not enough blood can get to our brain, we have a stroke. When not enough blood can get to our heart, we have a heart attack.

The lack of oxygen leads to quick cell death in both organs.
