A precision laboratory thermometer measure a certain liquid's temperature at 44.014(degrees)Fahrenheit. if the temperature of liquid drops by 3.73(degrees) what then would thermometer read?

This is strange, because the temperature can be anywhere between 40.280 and 40.289. I'm not sure how we would know exactly what temperature, we just know it would be somewhere in that range. There is a range, because if the temperature drops by 3.73, that means it could have precisely dropped by anywhere from 3.725 to 3.734 degrees, because they all round to 3.73.
