Why is Colombia dangerous?

Because the people there speak Spanish. Be wary of countries where the people speak Spanish.

They'll rob you. Knifepoint, gunpoint, deception, it doesn't matter. If you look like a tourist, if you look lost, if you look stupid, they'll rob you.

Many thieves and robbers like to dress up as cops. They'll harass you, push you around, demand to see your passport & belongings, and they'll take what they want from you.

And the thieves, they almost never work alone. They have partners. Some of them hunt in packs. Como animales.

Some of them have come up with this scam, where one of them plants drugs on you.
And then their partner dresses up as a cop, tracks you down, finds the drugs on you, and then uses it as a reason to act with brutality. To beat the living crap out of you, and then rob you.

The ACTUAL cops in Colombia are crap. Many are corrupt. If you've been robbed, stabbed, shot, they don't care. They've either been paid off by criminals to do nothing, or they're too lazy.

^That is ironic. Every country has a bad "barrio" or "hood"... heck we live in a corrupt world! Places like Colombia, Puerto Rico, El Salvador etc... are crammed with drug addicts and hence the violence and killings.

But then look at a country like Spain, or even Cuba, or Argentina. Sure, each country has its corrupt parts, but the people are quite decent... they won't stab you to get $5.

Its NOT only countries where people speak spanish.
