hmmmmm what do you guys think? My first ever poem! :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The Blind Man Still Sees The colors leap In the back of my head And flows behind my eyes And even when I sleep The dragons and stories come alive Behind my gray eyes I still see I can seldom see through Sometimes I can see more than you I may be blind to you, but that is only what you see Now with every journey that I take, Cautious with each step I make, Each becomes a quest of discovery, Every movement teaching me. The colors of our world escape all sight But they still dance in my mind As I exist in my eternal night, I rely on nature to come alive, The smell of roses and emanating sound Play a role for all I have known Black is my heart Blue is my soul Taking me apart Devouring me whole I lash out for what may not be But then I remember the colors I still see All the world is unknown Caged inside my head Fearful of what’s ahead But still I see Feeling the sun I can imagine the colors Blooming all around me like a warm hug Others pity me Some fear me But I do not fear the world Because I can see. ‐Sierra

I think it belongs in the English or Literature section.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

welp i put it in the music section! :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i like it... alot...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks bro! :D

OpenStudy (tanner23456):

welp, you obviously don't know the difference between music and literature.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

BAHAHAHAHA alright no need to get hostile. I do know the difference, I view poetry as a form of music. plus there is plenty of ppl on here who post poetry in music. you keep ur oppion and i will keep mine. :)

OpenStudy (tanner23456):

I don't know what an oppion is but I don't know if I want to keep it. I'm just saying, is it really that hard to post your poetry in the literature section? I'd really like to converse about music instead of literature. The thing is, the only way to critique poetry is from a literary stand point. So, then why would you post it in the music section?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

again i wanted to post it in the music section because i look at it as a type of music. if you wanna talk about music thats fine! I play 8 different instruments and go to berklee college of music so whats up bro!

OpenStudy (tanner23456):

That's awesome. Then why don't you ask questions about music instead of wasting your time with poetry?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OMG dude how many times do i need to tell you that i consider poetry as music! hence the post. lol and I dont have a lot of questions about music, im here to help others.

OpenStudy (tanner23456):

oh, well, I guess that just doesn't really make sense to me to consider literature music, but none the less I'm glad to see someone with an actual musical background in the music section so welcome.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol thanks. :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):
