hello!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1. What is the difference ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

call you?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The denominators are the same so you can ignore them for now. \[(5x-2)-(x-2)\] that should simplify your question. the answer you get above will be over the denominator (4x)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im confused

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the difference in the two equations is one subtracted from the other. In order to subtract functions they must have the same denominator (number on the bottom of the fraction). These numbers are the same, therefore your solution must have the same denominator (4x). The rest of the answer comes from subtracting the numerators (5x-2) and (x-2). if your still confused it can be rewritten like this 5x-2-x+2.

OpenStudy (nurali):

\[\frac{ 5x-2 }{ 4x }-\frac{ x-2 }{ 4x }\] \[\frac{ 5x-2-x+2 }{ 4x }\] \[\frac{ 4x }{ 4x }\] \[1\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ohhh okay thank yall soo much!

OpenStudy (nurali):

My Pleasure

idk who i should give it to
