Making sure that I understand this correctly. Fill in the blank with the correct direct object pronoun, based on the word in parentheses, that best complete this sentence: Ustedes _______ traen. (cuchillos) Wouldn't it be "las" since ustedes is formal and cuchillos is plural? If not could I get a quick explanation? Please and thank you!

You're close. The word is "cuchillos." And there are two things that are very important about this word: 1. It is PLURAL. 2. It is MASCULINE. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ Here are all the Spanish direct-object pronouns, and their uses: Lo (singular/masculine) Los (plural/masculine) La (singular/feminine) Las (plural/feminine) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ So it's not "las," because "cuchillos" is plural, but not feminine.

Ah okay I got it, so it would be los. Thank you very much!

Sí. De nada.
