OpenStudy (anonymous):
x + the square root of x + 5 = 7. Find the solution set. I did x + the square root of (x+5) 2 = 7 times the square root of (x+5) 2. I ended up with x = 7, but when I checked the answer, it should've been 4. What did I do wrong, here?
