What stopped hitler?

Nobody/Nothing really stopped/captured him. In the end, Hitler finally just killed himself.

That's pretty much true in more than his suicide. Hitler was a gambler and a political demagogue, not a tactician, and while he was very lucky early in the war owing largely to the quality of the generals (Rundstedt, Manstein, Hoth, Guderian, Model, etc.) under his command, his later strategies ultimately destroyed everything he had gained when he launched his ill-fated invasion of the Soviet Union.

He also never trusted his officer's corps fully and often insisted on making many of the most important decisions himself -- often against the better judgment of his generals. He micromanaged almost everything and had a head for facts and figures that surprised, and intimidated, his officers.

In the end, his meddling with strategy and tactics ultimately proved more useful to the Allies than if he were assassinated. It's been hypothesized that if Hitler were assassinated in '43 or '44, his generals would either have managed the war far better than he did or would have sued for peace, ending the war and possibly saving millions of lives in the process.

But that was only after America has joined the war and wore down the german lines and cutting off the german supplies.

Russia was knocking at germans back door while they were busy at the front with England and America....

Had America and England not joined together Russia would not have made it anywhere.

England was in at the begining and so was Russia cuase hitler betrayed them..... the only reason we really joined in the war was cause Pearl Harbor...... so technically we were fighing two wars the war with japan part of WWII but we went to war with germany after japan......
