Difference between who & whom?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The difference between who and whom is that "who" addressed the subject of the verb and "whom" never is the subject of the verb. I'll give a few examples: 1) Who paid for the meal? 2) I wonder who is in charge. 3) Do you know the boy who rang the bell? 4) You have a child by whom? 5) You sat by whom all night? 6) Claire saw whom last night? I hope this helps. :)
