terenzreignz (terenzreignz):

Something about proving equality between sets... appeals to me :D You have to prove that they are subsets of each other... savvy? XD

terenzreignz (terenzreignz):

hey, @msingh you with me?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i was thinking how i can prove these subset of each other

terenzreignz (terenzreignz):

Apparently, we're not allowed to use the method I mentioned... so use this... \[\huge A\backslash B = A\cap B'\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay

terenzreignz (terenzreignz):

So... we need to prove this, right? \[\Large A=(A\backslash B) \cup (A\cap B)\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(A∩B) this means A-B

terenzreignz (terenzreignz):

Well, okay... we need to prove this \[\Large A= (A-B)\cup(A\cap B)\] right?

terenzreignz (terenzreignz):

@msingh work with me here...
