MEDAL AWARDED FOR THE FIRST PERSON TO ANSWER! How do you find the area of a pizza slice? The area of the pizza is 804.25 inches^2. The diameter of the pizza is 16 inches and there are 10 slices. I also need the area of each slice for an 8 piece pizza with a diameter of 14 inches and an area of 615.75 inches^2. I just need someone to explain to me how to do this, I am not looking for someone to just give me the answer. I figured out the area of the whole pizzas on my own.

So, assuming the pizza slices are equal in area, you just need to divide the total area by the number of slices. So dividing the 804.25 by 10 should give you the area of one slice

Okay :-) thanks! That's what I thought, but I just wanted to make sure :)
