HELP

OpenStudy (anonymous):

this is what i got- Scanning electron microscopes (SEM) are useful for studying the details of a specimen’s surface. The electron beam scans the specimen’s surface, which is coated with a thin layer of gold metal. The electrons that scatter off of the gold-coated surface are focused onto a screen, forming a detailed image of the specimen surface. The image is three-dimensional and black and white.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Its's between A or B

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it's not A. The electron beam is scattered off the gold-coated surface, it doesn't pass through the specimen.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do you mean it's not B because B say it's passed not a?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh, sorry. It is not absorbed by the specimen.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it is B, see how B talks about focusing the scattered electrons onto a screen?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

therefore it's B?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes if I were you, I would read this for awhile just for background knowledge
