..

76.39%

OpenStudy (technodynamic):

can you show me how you came up with that please? my teacher is trying to cheat me out of a grade lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Add 82.77 + 70, and then divide by 2 because you are adding 2 numbers. :)

OpenStudy (technodynamic):

LOL oooooohh ok! I get it now! Thanks!

OpenStudy (amistre64):

that doesnt account for a weighted average tho

OpenStudy (technodynamic):

Oh ok. Amistre, may you show how to arrive at the weighted average? Thank you, i appreciate it.

OpenStudy (amistre64):

if its outright point based; how many points are given for a complete semester; and how many points did you accumulate overall?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

in my acc301 class: 4 test for 80%, and 4 quizzes for 20% each test was worth 20%, and each quiz worth 5% would give me my final grade

OpenStudy (technodynamic):

The total amount cumulative is 520 points. The amount I received was 363 for the semester. Then, I received 82.77% for lab extra credit.

OpenStudy (amistre64):

82.77% of what tho? or is that just an extra 82.77 points to accredit?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

if its just accredited, then: (363+82.77)/520 = .8573

OpenStudy (amistre64):

what grade did you get?

OpenStudy (technodynamic):

The professor is trying to give me a 75%, but my grade is supposed to be higher. I complained to the school b/c he kept treating American students unfairly. So now the school is forcing him to change the grade to a higher grade b/c he was being unfair.

OpenStudy (amistre64):

520*.75=390 390 - 363 = 27 extra credit points

OpenStudy (amistre64):

27/.8277 = 32.6 for the amount of extra credit points that might have been available.

OpenStudy (amistre64):

i know at my college that the teachers are only allowed to give only a certain amount of extra credit not too exceed a certain %age of the total available points

OpenStudy (amistre64):

32.6/520 is roughly 6%

OpenStudy (technodynamic):

He said just out of 82.77%. I refuses to tell me how much it is out of. :/ The thing is...he let his people cheat on every exam, yet he tries failing the students who speak American English. Smh, this school is unfair.

OpenStudy (technodynamic):

he* refuses

OpenStudy (amistre64):

without knowing his grading schema, it would be hard for anyone to make a guess at it. good luck tho

OpenStudy (technodynamic):

I'm thinking of asking the school's department exactly what was the lab out of. Thank you :)

OpenStudy (technodynamic):

I'll be back on tomorrow, hopefully they'll tell me.
