Given that ABCD is a rhombus, what is the value of x?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well what ones can you eliminate first?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hahah sorry :/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

huh?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah i edited the question @Hope_nicole

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh xD okay, so knowing its a rhombus what do we know about those angles?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

they add up to 90 degress :/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

are you guessing? lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sop its not 90 :(

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay so then you can do the two angles which are x and 3x+7 and write it like this x+3x+7=90 :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do i combine like terms :/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yupp! so then it would be 4x=83 (you would subtract 7 from each side)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok i got 20.70 after i divided:/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so then x=20.7

OpenStudy (anonymous):

TURN THAT FROWN UPSIDE DOWN TO MR.!

OpenStudy (anonymous):
