I need help on how should I start my essay. I need a meaningful introduction, but how can I do it?

Yes you can include a quote (unless your teacher specifically says not to) or you can say: According to _____, blah blah blah.

Introduce the writer of the quote first for example Herman Melville once said "It is better to fail in originality than to succeed in imitation". Then you would explain what your paper will have to do with the quote etc......

Usually essays are made of 5 paragraphs (although it depends) - intro, 3 bodies with arguments, and a conclusion. in the intro state some reasons to support your opinion. then explain in the body paragraphs, and finish it off with a conclusion where you restate (in different words!) your reasons.

First we have to know what is the subject of your essay so we can tell you what kinda books or other thing,but the most important thing that you should know is that your essay must be unique and from yourself.
I mean you cannot copy or find a essay in google or wikipedia,the most important thing in here is this so you have to work and include your knowledge in it.
