Two similar cylinders have surface areas of 40 π square feet and 90 π square feet. What is the ratio of the height of the large cylinder to the height of the small cylinder?

what is the equation for surface area of a cylinder?
Volume = Bh x area of base x height Surface Area = 2B x Ch = (2 x area of base) x (circumference height)
okay, so with that known...with them being 40pi and 90pi, what is the height of each?
we don't know the height unfortunately
just 40pi and 90 pi respectively
