OpenStudy (anonymous):

which of the following is not a lipoprotein that carries nonpolar lipids through the blood stream? a) HDL b)chylomicron c)VLDL d)LDL e)glycerol

OpenStudy (chmvijay):

i think its chylomicron u post this in bio section LOL:)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think chmvijay is wrong!!! :)

OpenStudy (chmvijay):

its glycerol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i agree. the right answer is glycerol. glycerol forms sort of the backbone of triglycerides. incidentally, a chylomicron look like a ball with these triglycerides packed in the core. it has lipid-binding apolipoproteins on the surface. so a chylomicron carries lipids, first through the lymphatic system, then through the blood stream to tissues.

OpenStudy (abb0t):

OHHHH BUUUUURRRRN!!!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

in any case, this is a biochem or physiology question but you are welcomed to post these here. i love these.

OpenStudy (abb0t):

Chemistry IS the central science, however, physiology is primarily a field in biology that relates topics in chemistry.

OpenStudy (chmvijay):

i meant that you may get quick response for ur question in bio section :) nothing more that that LOL:)
