Now, notice that you have angle G which is 60 You also have the length of the opposite side which is 17 You need side FG which is the adjacent side Since as I said earlier, tan = opposite/adjacent Then you can see that tan 60 = 17/adjacent --- We need the adjacent side Have an idea on how to get it from: tan 60 = 17/adjacent ?
