At the end of a long drought, the local reservoir was at 35% capacity. After three weeks of steady rain, however, the level rose to 60% capacity. If this increase amounted to 10,000 more gallons in the reservoir, how many gallons does the reservoir hold?

The big key here is finding out what that 10,000 really represents. You are given 60% as the stopping point and 35% as the start, so 60-35=??? That is the % you know and the key to answering this.
