what is the distance formula?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Im not sure, and it doesnt say..

OpenStudy (bahrom7893):

Well that's why you have google. Look it up and tell me

@foreverandalways The distance formula is: \[d=\sqrt{(x _{2}-x _{1})+(y _{2}-y _{1})}\] That leaves you to 13 as the final answer. :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

d=\[d=\sqrt{x2-x1}^2+(yx-y1)^2\]

thankyou very much! (:

Before I forget, there's a "squared" outside the parenthesis. =) I forgot to place it.
