Where does the graph of y = 2x^2 + 7x + 3 cross the x-axis? I keep getting stuck can someone show me how to solve it?

OpenStudy (mertsj):

you can find the x intercepts by replacing y with 0. Did you do that?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes then I get stuck

OpenStudy (mertsj):

I'm pretty sure it will factor. Did you try to factor it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

0= 2x^2 + 7 + 3 I think here you multiply two by 6. I have tried it both ways and i still get stuck
