Which ordered pair is a solution to the inequality y > x + 5? (-3, 2) (0, -3) (3, 5) (2, 8)

OpenStudy (radar):

Just substitue the x and y value in the ordered pair and see if the statement. I will do the first one x=-3, y=2 2>-3+5 2>2 That is not true, you can do the rest.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so it's (3,5) because of the equation shown?? @radar

OpenStudy (radar):

Lets check. x=3, y=5 5>3+5 5>8 Do you believe 5 is greater than 8, I don't. bad asnwer

OpenStudy (radar):

In the ordered pair, the x value is on the left (first one) then the y value is on the right or the second one.
