Help identify stages of mitosis please? Picture in next post.
Identify which phase shows prophase, prometaphase, metaphase, anaphase, or telophase.
I think the second one is prophase and the last one is interphase but I'm not 100% sure and can't figure out the rest. It doesn't look at all like the pictures I've seen!
prophase ,metaphase,telophase,cytokinesis
That's right.
interphase wasn't one of the options. 5th one can't be right.
prophase=>metaphase=>anaphase=>telophase=>cytokinesis Thats the correct solution. Between prophase and metaphase, you may have a pro-metaphase, but that's not usually common. And cytokinesis may or may not appear in your answer.
@lilyswan you mixed up the first 2, lol
@Khushal_Shah Prophase>>Metaphase>>Anaphase>>Telophase As you said, that is the correct order of mitosis. But that's not the order that is shown in the picture. Take a look at the picture that FollowTheFez posted. You'll see the labels that lilyswan posted were correct.
oh damn, you're right! whoops, my bad @lilyswan, you're right :)
Cytokinesis and Interphase were NOT in the options given. So the fifth one can't be interphase (this is what I originally thought it was as well but it wasn't in the list of labels we had to match up). Any other ideas?
what were the options given @followthefez?
1st one is metaphase 2nd one is prometaphase 3rd one is anaphase 4th one is telophase 5th one is prophase i hope now you agrees with me
according to your given options i identified them again
@LilySwan You didn't need to define them again. You were right the first time.
