solving the derivative of

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\frac{ 1-(e^x \times x) }{ x+e^x }\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I first used the QUOTIENT RULE. After that I used the product rule for where it stipulates in the quotient formula to find the derivative of \[e^x \times x\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\frac{ (x+e^x) \times( \frac{ d }{ dx }[1-e^x.x]) - (\frac{ d }{ dx }[x+e^x]) \times(1-e^x.x) }{ (x+e^x)^2 }\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so its correct go on

OpenStudy (anonymous):

give me 2 minutes please. typing out working

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[(x+e^x)\left\{ (\frac{ d }{ dx }-e^x).x+(\frac{ d }{ dx }x)(-e^x.x)\right\} - (e^x+1)(1-e^x.x)\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

where the braces are, i implemented the product rule to derive: \[\frac{ d }{ dx }(1-e^x.x)\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so its solved
