Why did you close the question?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

because I remembered how to do it and answered it correctly on my homework

OpenStudy (skullpatrol):

Good job :)

OpenStudy (skullpatrol):

May I give you a little advice about this question?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (skullpatrol):

When you asked "what is the graph of y=x^2 shifted to the left 8 times" You should not use the word "times" because "times" means multiply in math, it would be better to use the phrase "8 units" then each unit makes up the "+8."

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah, after I typed that I looked at the question and wondered if it made a difference. Thanks for telling me :)

OpenStudy (skullpatrol):

np :)
