NEED HELP CUZ MY TEACHER IS A POOPHOLE
The area of a right triangle is 30mm squared. The height is 12mm. Find the perimetier
i no im probs stupid for asking dis shizzle
http://www.mathsteacher.com.au/year7/ch12_length/07_triangle/triangle.htm look at this then i'll help you out just help you get an understanding
I understand perimeter but i just don't get the concept of finding the perimeter with the area and height
FFirst you have to find the length of the side
well a right triangel is 90 degrees
uggg idn thats y i am asking :(
you know the Pythagorean theory?
yupper leg squard +leg squared= hypothenus squared
Pythagorean Theorem In any right triangle, the area of the square whose side is the hypotenuse is equal to the sum of the areas of the squares whose sides are the two legs. Translated meaning is the long side squared equals the sum of the two other sides squared. use that to find the length of the side
i understand that so would you do 30 squared + 12 mm= Hyp
yes
but i dont understand cuz 30 is the area so its not a leg
c^2=a^2+b^2
but 30 sqaured is the area not the leg....
\[\sqrt{30^2 + 12^2 =32.31099}\]
now that you have all the sides of the triangle (30,12,32.31099) use this formula (a+b+c= the perimeter
I NOOO but isn't 30 the area! sorry i am sassy
what i thought you wanted to find the perimeter not the area?
