you got 2 triangles but you need 1...your diagonal is 32 inches and the other 2 sides are the same (isnt it a square?)

express the fact that you have 2 sides of that triangle the same (because you have a square) and the diagonal is 32 in terms of the pythagorean theorem( i hope you know it) and you are done:)

how did u get 16? it's a^2+a^2=32^2 if a is the length of one side
