Help.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

25x^2 - 40xy + 16y^2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@ParthKohli

Parth (parthkohli):

Aha!\[(a - b)^2 = a^2 - 2ab + b^2\]Wut if \(a = 5x\) and \(b = 4y\)?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok wait...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can u explain/ lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait i get it but what about the -40xy

Parth (parthkohli):

Do you know that \((a - b)^2 = a^2 - 2ab + b^2\)? Well... write \(25x^2 - 40xy + 16y^2\) like \((5x)^2 - 2(5x)(4y) + (4y)^2\). Seem familiar? o_o

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh okaii thank you ^.^

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i was like hmmm i know this but how 0.o

Parth (parthkohli):

So what do you get for the answer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(5x - 4y)^2

Parth (parthkohli):

OMG :')

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you ^.^

Parth (parthkohli):
