A scientist publishes the results of an experiment. Which will make his experiment more valid?

Reliability means that the experiment is easy to replicate, and when you replicate you get similar results, i.e. the controls you use like a specific amount of substances, not just random amounts. Validity is when you make sure that you actually test what you aim to test, so like to find out the reaction between one specific substance and another if you don't test the substances which you say you will be then that is not valid.
