can someone help me please! I am confused! this is the problem: you are choosing between two telephone plans. Plan A has a monthly fee of $20 with a charge of $0.05 per minute for all calls. Plan B has a monthly fee of $5 with a charge of $0.10 per minutes for all calls. A) for how many minutes of calls will the costs for the two plans be the same? what will be the cost for each plan? B) if you make approximately 10 calls per month, each averaging 20 minutes, which plan should you select?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

put the number minutes you use as \(x\) then the first plan will cost you \[20+.05x\] per month and the second will cost \[5+.1x\] if you want to know the number of minutes for which they are the same, solve \[20+.05x=5+.1x\] for \(x\) maybe easier to multiply both sides by 100 and solve \[2000+5x=500+10x\]

I got 300 for x. Will this be a solution for system of linear equations?
