Can somebody please explain what a chromosome does everyday inside of us. Like if your talking about one chromosome what would its day be like?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i dont know sorry

OpenStudy (anonymous):

They carry all of the information used to help a cell grow, thrive, and reproduce. Chromosomes are made up of DNA. So, basically, the every day life of a chromosome within a cell is to carry information, help a cell grow, thrive, and reproduce. As simple as that.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You're welcome(:

OpenStudy (gabylovesyou):

I can add .. A chromosome is an organized structure of DNA and protein found in cells.

OpenStudy (gabylovesyou):

Chromosomes come in pairs. Normally, each cell in the human body has 23 pairs of chromosomes (46 total chromosomes). Half come from the mother; the other half come from the father.
