A polyhedron has 6 vertices and 9 edges. How many faces does it have?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Can you explain or like draw it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The one on the far left

Does anyone know Euler's polyhedron formula?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Let P be a convex polyhedron. Let v be the number of vertices, e be the number of edges and f be the number of faces of P. Then v-e + f = 2.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

6 - 9 + f = 2?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah, and that equals 5! I just needed the formula. Thanks! @justin2013
