OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@amistre64 help please!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Hope_nicole could you help me on this one?

hartnn (hartnn):

can you use trigonometry ? sin/cos/tan...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

this is with cosines and sines law i m searching about it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Im not sure which one to use? @hartnn

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Could you just put the equation and I solve it?

hartnn (hartnn):

this needs sine law, do you know sin law ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes opposite over hypotnues.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

|dw:1366658811830:dw|

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i got that with the sinus law

hartnn (hartnn):

thats the definition of sine in a right triangle. by sine law, in any triangle, \(\large \dfrac{sin X}{x}=\dfrac{sin Y}{y}=\dfrac{sin Z}{z}\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Im still not getting any of the answers?

hartnn (hartnn):

you should be able to get on your own, what @julian25 got.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

This is not a right angle.

hartnn (hartnn):

sine law can be used in ANY triangle

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I seriously can not get the answer... please help.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think the "tutor way" dont works with foreverisabell since i wrote the equation and u the formula and she says that dont get the answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I used that formula.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I get 0.25 & thats not right!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is it 24.2?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@hartnn

hartnn (hartnn):

yes, i am getting 24.181 which is approx. 24.2
