Ok here are the questions

For questions 1–4, find the slope of the following graphs.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (precal):

to understand slopes, you must understand that their are 4 cases case 1) positive slope case 2) negative slope case 3) undefined slope case 4) zero slope

OpenStudy (precal):

case 1) line goes up from left to right example y=2x is a positive slope because if you look at the graph it will go up 2 units and right one unit case 2) line goes down from left to right example y=(-3/4)x because the line will go down 3 units and right 4 case 3) any vertical line is undefined because (any number)/0 is not possible case 4) any horizontal line is zero slope because (0)/(any number) is 0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The Choice are: 1/2, 2, -2, -1/2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (precal):

well your line is going down so it can not be 1/2 or 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-1/2?

OpenStudy (precal):

|dw:1366663315629:dw|I hate to open any attachments, so look for 2 points and see if it went down 1 unit and right 2 units
