Any one familiar with Refractographs? Would appreciate any advice to get them right.

Hey, this is beautiful and interesting! I would like to see how it can be made; On some of that photos, I had a impression that one specific photographic camera captured some reflection with opned ... wait (one minute passed then...) If you close your eyes like 99 percent, then look (or change eyes focus) to far city buildings on horizon, or even stars, you will experience some things like this.
