In order to get the answer would I have to do something like this? Or am I wrong? \[\frac{ 8 }{ 18 } = \frac{ Y }{ 6 }\] If so were would I go from there? Thanks to anyone who can help me :)

Directrix (directrix):

Lengths of corresponding sides of similar triangles are in proportion. So, 8 is to z as 4 is to 6. 8/z = 4/6 8/z = 2/3 Cross multiply: 2*z = 8*3 z = ? @jazzeejess

@Directrix so the answer would be 12. Correct?

Directrix (directrix):

Yes, 12 is what I got.
