OpenStudy (gorv):

it means both circle have 1/4th part of area in the rectangle

OpenStudy (gorv):

area of 1/4th part of 1st circle=pi*r^2/4 area of 1/4th part of 2nt circle=pi*r^2/4 so area covered by circle =sum of both above area=2*pi*r^2/4=pi*r^2/2 area of shedded portion=area of rectangle-area of circlr @irishchelsc got it???

OpenStudy (anonymous):

would 1413 be the answer guys.?

OpenStudy (gorv):

no this is the area occupied by circle subtract it from area of rectangle that is =60*30=1800

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1800-1413...?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

387...?

OpenStudy (gorv):

yeah gotcha

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you @gorv

OpenStudy (gorv):
