Ann's average score on the first 3 tests of her Trigonometry course was 76. If she makes a 92 on the 4th test, what will her new test average be?

OpenStudy (kropot72):

First multiply the original average score of 76 by 3 to find the total of the scores on the first 3 tests. Next add 92 to the total of the scores on the first 3 tests to find the total of the scores in the 4 tests. Then divide the total of the scores in the 4 tests by 4 to find the new test average.

missed that first step...By the way, you're a miracle worker and I love you.

OpenStudy (kropot72):

You're welcome :) Can you do it now?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah the new average is 80.

Only one more problem problem!

OpenStudy (kropot72):

Good work. The new average is 80. I'll try to help with one more.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

want me to just put it here or make an entirely new question?

OpenStudy (kropot72):

Best post it as a new question please.
