2 x - 22x + 121

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Respectfully I this is the simplest way of looking at these types of question. \[x^2-22x+121\]Look for 2 numbers that add up to -22 and multiply to make +121. \[(x+a)(x+b)\] \(a+b=-22\) and \(a \times b=121\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Start to think about the number \(121\) it looks like \(11^2\) right? OMG \(22\) looks like -11 -11!!! What is \(-11^2\)? pellet the bed!!! It's 121. AWWW YEAH

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So\[(x-11)(x-11)\]or\[(x-11)^2\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Make sense?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Great, glad I could help!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks so much
