1. You would break it down into two parenthesis. (x - 6 ) (x + 6) = 0

2. Separate and set both parenthesis to equal zero.

3. Add six on both sides of the equal mark. For the first one.

4. Subtract 6 on both sides of the equal mark. For the second one.

5. The it will equal: x = 6.......and......x = -6.

This is an example. for the first one.
