The Iran-Contra affair violated the Reagan administration’s policy of refusing to negotiate with terrorists. engage the military in the Middle East. sell weapons outside the United States. fund revolutionary groups in other countries.
D. Fund revolutionary groups in other countries
^
thanks xD one more?
of course
Basically we sold arms to Iran and then gave that money which was still Iran's money to the Contra rebels in south america. This was iffy because the debate arose over whether the money was Iran's or was the money ours and we were propping up a rebel group.
How do some scholars believe Ronald Reagan helped bring an end to the Cold War? Reagan’s policy of glasnost promoted peace. By limiting American military spending, Reagan forced the Soviets to do the same. Mikhail Gorbachev and Reagan negotiated the end of the Soviet Union by signing the START I Treaty. ***Reagan supported a massive arms buildup that hastened the collapse of the Soviet economy. ~~~~~ im pretty sure its the last one, just not positive.
Well, it is not C... START I is the first STrategic Arms Reduction Treaty...
Definitely not B I am more lenient to D than Glasnost
YAY i was more than likely right xD thanks guys!
