Can you check my answer? Based on the graph of y = x2 − 2x − 3, what is the x coordinate of the positive x-intercept? x = -b/2*a x = 2/2*1 x = 2/2 = 1 So would the answer be 1? It's not multiple choice so I can't be sure.

yes the answer should be one .

x-intercept means, y=0 so, we get \[0=x^2-2x-3\\ (x-3)(x+1)=0\\ \mathbf{x=3}\qquad{\rm OR}\qquad\mathbf{x=-1} \] so, what is the positive "x-intercept"?

oh, so the answer would be 3?
