so its 1/2 * 12 * 14.4?
they show an altitude for the bottom triangle, 10.4 so you can find the area of the bottom
all 3 "sides" are the same size, with base 12, and height 14.4
So I multiply the product of that by 3?
yes, the total of the 3 sides is 3/2 * 12*14.4 then add in the bottom: 1/2 * 12 * 10.4

wait its suppose to be 3/2 instead of 1/2 for the 3 sides?
the 3 "sides" each have area 1/2 * 12 * 14.4 so the area of all 3 together is 3 * 1/2 * 12 * 14.4 which I wrote as 3/2 * 12 * 14.4
that gives 259.2 now add the bottom : 1/2 * 12 * 10.4
