Read about Heron's Formula for finding the area of a triangle near the bottom of p. 621 in the Geometry textbook. Make up the lengths of three sides of a triangle and find its area using Heron's formula. On the discussion board, share your example and solution. Discuss Heron's formula compared to other triangle area formulas introduced in this lesson, such as advantages/disadvantages for each and which formula you prefer.

I just need help on the first part.

Well, they tell you where Heron's Formula is in the book and to just make up a triangle, so I am guessing the description in the book is not so great. Try this description if it and see if it helps: http://www.mathsisfun.com/geometry/herons-formula.html
